PhoneSnipe

PRIVACY

Your data on PhoneSnipe.

Updated September 15, 2026. This page describes the features currently implemented by PhoneSnipe.

Login and saved watches

Google login provides your account identifier, name, email and profile image. PhoneSnipe stores account records, saved listing IDs and phone-watch preferences in MongoDB. Session cookies keep you signed in. Demo mode stores example watches and saved items in your browser.

Email alerts

Saving a watch does not subscribe you to email. When email delivery is configured, enabling an alert records your email address and consent for that watch. You can disable it in your profile or through the unsubscribe link in an alert.

Analytics and cookies

Google Analytics measures visits, page performance, listing clicks and watch creation using browser and device data and analytics cookies. PhoneSnipe does not send your account email, name or watch budget as custom analytics parameters. Google receives network information when analytics loads. Browser settings or content blockers can restrict analytics.

Our own interaction-event records expire after 30 days. Account and watch records remain while the account or watch is retained. Hosting, database and analytics providers may maintain their own operational records.

eBay and other services

eBay links include affiliate campaign and placement identifiers. Following a link takes you to eBay, where eBay’s privacy terms apply. PhoneSnipe does not receive your eBay password or payment-card details from a phone purchase. Google provides sign-in and analytics; MongoDB stores application records; Vercel hosts the deployed website. Email delivery, when enabled, uses Resend.

Questions and deletion requests

You can remove listing and phone watches from your profile.

A contact address for account-data requests will be added before launch.
